Who Is Rich Niccolls?
I've had an enormous opportunity to do some amazing things. I have been to 11 different countries, including 5 countries in East Africa where my family and I did mission work. I taught for 6 years at a university in Dallas. I've done a little bit of everything else too, but nothing compares to what I am doing now. I have been working from home full time, having the time to be with my family, my kids, and the time freedom to create my own schedule. This time freedom has allowed me to do such things as: take a mission trip down to Mexico with my daughter, and to serve at my church during the day in a "Feeding Frenzy" to the local high school. I am able to take and pick up my kids from school, as well as being a chaperone on my son's school trip to the Ft. Worth Zoo. I went fishing at 10:00 a.m. on a Tuesday morning and caught a 7½ pound bass. I spent 3 hours during the day on a Thursday with my wife, eating lunch and doing a little shopping. There's certainly work to be done too... but time freedom is a commodity I like to invest in. I am blessed to have the life I have. It's not always this nice, but I wouldn't trade what I have for any high paying job. So, who am I? Well, keep on reading and I'll fill in the details.
FamilyMy wife and I have 3 children — 2 girls and a boy. Ages 14, 12, and 6 respectively. After coming home from Africa in 1996, it took me a while to figure out what I was going to do for the rest of my life. Up to that point, it was somewhat clear. After several years of seeking and looking for my new passion in life, it became clear to me as I was traveling on a business trip to southern Illinois. Basically... it was time to focus on my family.
No job title. No career move. Just Family Man! Once I accepted this, everthing seemed to fall into place. The business I had been working from home for 3 years took off. So, in 2003 I was able to ditch the job. One of the things my kids have that not many others have is 24/7 parents. Our commitment is to God, each other, and our kids. We have been able to create some great memories as a family. The last couple of years we have spent a couple weeks at Disney World, 4th of July on the Gulf Coast beach, Sea World in San Antonio, and other great vacations. My kid's bulletin boards are filled with vacation photos. My FaithI mentioned above that we were missionaries in East Africa. It is my goal to incorporate and weave my faith into everything I do, including my family, my career, my leisure time, and everything else. My objective is to be consistent in my life, let my faith in Christ be found in me, and let others be attracted to Christ because of the life I am living. It's not always easy, but it is my objective. On my top web sites (see the link at the top of the page) you will find a few links that I are continuing to shape my life. The two sites I am really into right now are Seth Barnes Blog and the World Race web site. If you've ever watched The Amazing Race on TV, this is much, much better. I just don't believe anything else I seek to accomplish in this life is more important than the mission that these people are a part of. In fact, much of What I Do (see below) is so I can be mission focused. What I DoAlmost 10 years ago I stumbled into the leads business after having been an affiliate of a large leads company. If you've ever been in sales, you know what leads are. These are names of prospects who have requested information about your product. About 5 years ago, I began my own leads business. Out of that business, my current company was started, called National-Leads.com. We sell leads to people who work in the home business industry.Personally, I cannot even imagine going to work at a normal job. I believe I am now completely "unemployable." Being unemployable and being unemployed are two totally separate things. Your mindset changes completely when you run your own business rather than working for someone else. For me, it is the ultimate way of living!
I have goals that are pushing me beyond what I'm doing with leads. The leads business does not provide passive, or residual income. Even though I love working with National-Leads.com, I knew there had to be a change if I was going to reach my goals. So, in 2007 I have begun working a business from home that will allow me to reach my passive income goals. It had to be a business that would exist in harmony with National Leads. But, it had be a business that would also line up with my faith and family. This decision has brought a lot of hope for 2007 and beyond. The owner of the new company shared this verse from Jeremiah 29 with me: This is what the LORD says: "When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my gracious promise to bring you back to this place. For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. One Final ThoughtYou may be wondering why I created this site "Who Is Rich?" instead of having some fancy business web site, and why I bothered to include photos of myself and my family. The main reason why is that the Internet, while an incredible communication and information tool, has created a bunch of cold relationships. I wanted you to know that I'm a real person with a real family and to take just a moment to get to know me a little better.I also know that there are many people who identify with my values of God and family first, and that when we are a slave to our job, our families are also slaves and victims as well. One of the great things about what I do, is I get to walk along side others who share these same values. If any of this resonates with you, drop me an email or give me a call. We can talk family, faith, or business. God Bless! rich@whoisrich.com |
